Tailor James is a Canadian actress, glamour and nude model. She was born on July 21, 1980, in Mississauga, Canada. Playboy named her its June 2003 Playmate at 22. Her appearance came in the 2000s, as Playboy's print tradition began to share space with an expanding online presence.

Tailor James entered Playboy through its online modeling program rather than the magazine’s centerfold pages. A roommate who had already worked as a Cybergirl brought James’s photographs to one of her own shoots, creating the introduction that led to Playboy Cybergirl of the Month for January 2002. The recognition gave her an early international audience before she became a Playmate.
Playboy promoted James to its monthly centerfold the following year, naming her Playmate of the Month for June 2003. The appearance considerably expanded her modeling profile and was followed by extensive work for international editions of Playboy. She subsequently appeared on more than a dozen Playboy covers around the world, making the magazine a recurring part of her career rather than a single feature.
