Dominique Jane Bio
Dominique Jane is an American actress, glamour and nude model. She was born Dominique Jane Sharpe on May 16, 1988, in Topanga, California. Playboy named her its August 2015 Playmate at 27. Her appearance came during Playboy's contemporary era of international and digital publishing.
Jane has natural breasts, green eyes and red hair. Her measurements are 32-24-34.
Dominique Jane initially prepared for a career behind the business of fashion rather than in front of the camera. She attended the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising and graduated with a degree in marketing, but life in Los Angeles gradually changed her priorities. Modeling, acting and performance proved more compelling, and she began working professionally across commercial and entertainment projects.
Her modeling credits grew to include campaigns and assignments for brands such as Target, Adidas, Nissan and Apple. Performance brought an especially memorable opportunity when Jane joined Ye as a backup dancer on the Yeezus tour. She later singled out the tour as one of her favorite professional experiences, combining the energy of live performance with the travel and unpredictability she enjoyed.
Jane’s California upbringing also fostered an enthusiasm for the outdoors. Hiking, horseback riding and traveling remained favorite ways to spend her time, while the beach had been a recurring destination since her teenage years—even, by her own account, when reaching it required sneaking out after being grounded. Her Irish family background was equally important to her, and she spoke warmly about identifying with the sociability and good humor she associated with Irish culture.
Playboy had interested Jane since she first encountered the magazine as a child, but the possibility became real when photographer Sasha Eisenman contacted her about shooting. Although nervous about posing nude, she accepted the opportunity enthusiastically. Hugh Hefner personally approved her, transforming an ambition she had regarded as unlikely into a concrete addition to her modeling career.
By the time she appeared in Playboy, Jane was already working full-time as both a model and performer. She hoped the exposure would broaden those opportunities and openly set her sights on becoming Playmate of the Year. Her Playboy appearance therefore arrived amid an active period that also encompassed commercial modeling, dance and touring experience on one of the decade’s highest-profile concert productions.
