Alexandra Tyler began modeling while she was still in high school, encouraged by a mother who saw possibilities beyond her strong grades and cheerleading schedule. An open casting call in Los Angeles led to agency representation, and Tyler soon decided she wanted to pursue modeling full-time. Over the next several years, she built commercial experience that included campaigns for L’Oréal and Volcom.
Growing up as the oldest of five children gave Tyler a particularly structured home life. She described her siblings as her closest friends, but being the eldest also meant living under stricter expectations and rarely being the one allowed to bend the rules. Outside work, she preferred a comparatively quiet routine built around hot yoga, daily spin classes and the outdoor life she associated with California, from beaches to mountain trips.

Tyler viewed the assignment through the persistence required to build a modeling career in the first place. By then she had already become accustomed to rejection and to hearing far more “no” than “yes” at castings.
