Eugena Washington Bio
Eugena Washington is an American actress, fashion and glamour model. Born Eugena Lundia Washington on October 8, 1984, in Columbia, South Carolina, she has also been credited as Eugenia Washington and Pie Washington. Playboy named her its December 2015 Playmate at 31. She was later named Playmate of the Year 2016. Her appearance came during Playboy's contemporary era of international and digital publishing.
Washington has natural breasts, brown eyes and black hair. Her measurements are 34-25-37.
Eugena Washington reached a national audience through the seventh cycle of America’s Next Top Model in 2006, finishing third after competing through the final stages in Barcelona. The exposure translated into professional modeling opportunities and gave Washington a platform well beyond the suburban environment she remembered from her youth. Growing up in a large family also helped shape the assertive personality that later became central to her public image.
Television was only one part of the work that followed. Washington appeared in B.o.B’s 2010 music video for “Nothin’ on You,” worked in advertising and continued modeling before establishing her first connection with Playboy. The magazine featured her in the “U.S.A.” editorial created for its 60th Anniversary period, beginning a relationship that she maintained with photographer Josh Ryan.
Two years later, Ryan contacted Washington again and asked whether she wanted to test as a Playmate. Her response reflected the philosophy she frequently expressed about refusing to impose unnecessary limits on herself: “Why the hell not?” That willingness brought her back to Playboy in a considerably more prominent role, adding the Playmate title to a career already shaped by fashion, reality television and commercial work.
Playboy soon gave Washington an even larger distinction when she was named Playmate of the Year 2016. She became the third African-American woman to receive the title and the first Playmate of the Year selected after Playboy removed the traditional centerfold from its redesigned magazine. Hugh Hefner announced her selection at the Playboy Mansion in May 2016; Washington was the final Playmate of the Year whose title Hefner personally announced there.
Washington continued acting alongside her modeling and entrepreneurial interests, including a recurring role on The Bold and the Beautiful, an appearance in The Perfect Match and a later role as Detective Nicole Miller in the television series Trace. Playboy photographed her again for a new centerfold spread in 2020, five years after her original Playmate appearance.
