Brittny Ward entered modeling unusually early, beginning at 12 after her mother submitted photographs to an agency. Growing up, she balanced that work with an equally busy mix of dance, volleyball and beauty-pageant competitions. Jazz, tap, ballet, hip-hop and lyrical dance all featured in her childhood, but pageantry ultimately proved a poor fit for a personality she considered far more relaxed and athletic than formal.
Her modeling career developed through a variety of commercial and promotional assignments.
