Crista Nicole is an American actress, glamour and nude model. She was born Crista Nicole Wagner on July 24, 1978, in Springfield, Ohio. Playboy named her its May 2001 Playmate at 22. Her appearance came in the 2000s, as Playboy's print tradition began to share space with an expanding online presence.
Nicole has enhanced breasts, blue eyes and blond hair. Her measurements are 34-25-35.
Crista Nicole came to modeling with an unusually athletic background. At Northeastern High School in Springfield, Ohio, she competed in several sports, including softball, basketball and track, while also cheerleading; another account also credits her with playing soccer. After high school, she attended Kent State University and studied psychology, although modeling soon began competing with her plans for college.
A roadside billboard helped change that direction. While traveling west near Las Vegas in 2000, Nicole spotted an advertisement for a Miss Hawaiian Tropic competition and decided to enter. Playboy recalled that she won the competition and became a state finalist, while her modeling record also includes a National Bikini Contest victory in 2000 and a Miss Hawaiian Tropic title in 2001. Those competitions provided some of her earliest concrete successes as a professional model.
Playboy followed soon afterward. Nicole had gone from studying psychology and entering bikini competitions to working regularly as a model within a relatively short period. At the time, she planned to devote another five or six years to modeling before returning her attention more fully to school. She specifically mentioned taking psychology classes alongside her modeling work rather than abandoning the subject altogether.
Her work outside Playboy included promotional modeling for Pete’s Wicked Ale. The assignment added commercial promotional work to a career that had begun largely through competitions and pageants. Nicole’s stated ambition was also international: she wanted not simply to model professionally but to use the career as an opportunity to travel around the world.
Nicole’s early career can be traced through a concise sequence of events: competitive sports in high school, psychology studies at Kent State, bikini and Hawaiian Tropic competitions, promotional work and then Playboy. She approached modeling as a career with a limited window rather than as a replacement for every other ambition.
