Playboy named her its March 2001 Playmate at 23. Her appearance came in the 2000s, as Playboy's print tradition began to share space with an expanding online presence.
Gonzalez has natural breasts, brown eyes and brown hair. Her measurements are 37-25-35.
Miriam Gonzalez had already built a substantial Playboy portfolio before receiving her centerfold. She appeared in numerous Playboy Special Editions, making her one of the models—along with Brooke Richards—whose Special Editions work preceded her selection as a Playmate. Those earlier pictorials became a particularly recognizable part of her Playboy catalog, often relying on close portraits and comparatively natural-looking photography.
Her centerfold therefore did not introduce Gonzalez to Playboy readers so much as move an already familiar model into the magazine’s most prominent recurring feature.
