Brooke Richards is an American actress, glamour and nude model. Born Debra Brooke Krout on October 17, 1976, in York, Pennsylvania, she has also been credited as Brooke Lynn Richards. Playboy named her its December 1999 Playmate at 23. Her appearance came during Playboy's 1990s print era, a period increasingly shaped by entertainment and celebrity culture.
Richards has enhanced breasts, brown eyes and blond hair. Her measurements are 34-24-35.
Brooke Richards grew up in an exceptionally large family, the youngest of fourteen children. Born in Pennsylvania and raised in South Carolina, she attended West-Oak High School in Westminster, where she also served as president of the National Honor Society. Even before modeling became a serious pursuit, her classmates had already voted her the student most likely to appear in Vogue.
Her modeling career accelerated after she won both Miss Hawaiian Tropic International and Miss Chevy Vettefest Chicago. Playboy followed soon after. Richards began appearing in Playboy newsstand special editions in 1998, then joined the Girls of Hawaiian Tropic pictorial and appeared on the cover of the July 1999 issue. By the end of that year, she had become the final Playmate of the twentieth century.
Richards continued working with Playboy after her centerfold, appearing in several videos and additional newsstand editions. Her route into the magazine was closely tied to the Hawaiian Tropic competition circuit, which gave her national exposure before Playboy turned that momentum into a broader modeling career.
