Ann Pennington Bio
Ann Pennington is an American actress, glamour and nude model. She was born Ann Victoria Pennington on June 3, 1950, in Seattle, Washington. Playboy named her its March 1976 Playmate at 25. Her appearance came during Playboy's 1970s print era, when the magazine reached the height of its mass-market influence.
Pennington has natural breasts, blue eyes and blond hair. Her measurements are 34-25-35.
Her centerfold was photographed by Pompeo Posar and Phillip Dixon, the two images marked more by composed, camera-aware portraits than by simple pinup flash. The pictorial favoured careful lighting and a quietly engaging rapport with the lens, qualities that helped the sequence read as a set of standalone photographs rather than a single gimmick.
Ann’s on-camera work extended beyond magazine pages. Like her sister Janice Pennington, she appeared as a model on television game shows, bringing the same practiced poise and publicity-savvy timing that made such roles a visible part of many models’ careers in the era.
That family connection to popular glamour continued into the next generation: her daughter Caitlin Cassidy posed for the brand and was chosen a Cybergirl of the Week in September 2003. Seen together, Ann’s photographic work, television appearances and her family’s later involvement sketch a modest but persistent presence within the overlapping worlds of magazine photography and televised entertainment.
