Holley Ann Dorrough is an American actress, glamour and nude model. She was born on August 12, 1986, in Gadsden, Alabama, and has also been credited as Holley Dorrough. Playboy named her its April 2006 Playmate at 19. Her appearance came in the 2000s, as Playboy's print tradition began to share space with an expanding online presence.
Dorrough has natural breasts, blue eyes and blond hair. Her measurements are 34-25-34.
Holley Ann Dorrough moved from Alabama to Los Angeles with entertainment ambitions already in mind. After graduating from Etowah High School in 2004, she began pursuing modeling and other opportunities in California, bringing with her a strong attachment to the Southern upbringing she often referenced in interviews. Cooking remained one of those connections, particularly traditional dishes such as fried chicken, mashed potatoes and okra.
Her Playboy selection followed a particularly confident introduction. Dorrough had already tested for the magazine when she attended the Midsummer Night’s Dream party at the Playboy Mansion. Meeting Hugh Hefner at the entrance, she introduced herself and told him that her photographs were waiting in his office and that she intended to become his next Playmate. Three days later, Playboy contacted her about shooting the centerfold.
Modeling remained an important part of Dorrough’s work after Playboy, but music gradually became another serious focus. In 2008 she formed a rock group called Centerfold, performing cover versions of songs associated largely with 1980s bands. The group played venues around the southeastern United States for several years, giving Dorrough regular experience as a lead vocalist rather than simply as a model making promotional appearances.
Acting provided an additional outlet. Dorrough appeared in a Playboy video and later took a small role on HBO’s Luck while continuing to pursue screen work in Los Angeles. The combination of acting and music suited the broader entertainment career she had originally moved west to develop, even as Playboy remained the opportunity that first gave her substantial national visibility.
By 2011 Dorrough had stepped away from Centerfold and returned her attention more fully to Hollywood, where she continued working toward music and acting opportunities. Her career after Playboy therefore developed across several distinct areas rather than remaining confined to modeling: television, live performance and vocal work all became part of the professional life she built after leaving Gadsden.
