Baggett later moved to New York with hopes of becoming a Broadway dancer, supporting herself with jobs that included cocktail waitressing while searching for opportunities in modeling and entertainment.
Her association with Playboy began in May 1995, when she appeared inside Playboy’s Book of Lingerie. Contrary to some later accounts, her first confirmed cover for the series was the March/April 1996 edition.
