Playboy Playmate of The Month for April 2017

Nina Daniele Bio Playmate of The Year

Nina Daniele is an American social media influencer, glamour and fashion model. Born Nina Marie Daniele on December 27, 1988, in Pelham, New York, she has also been credited as Nina Drama. Playboy named her its April 2017 Playmate at 28. She was later named Playmate of the Year 2018. Her appearance came during Playboy's contemporary era of international and digital publishing.

Daniele has natural breasts, brown eyes and brown hair. Her measurements are 34-24-35.

Nina Daniele came to modeling through a long-standing interest in fashion and photography rather than a childhood plan to work in front of the camera. She studied creative writing for four years and graduated with a degree in publishing, while photography remained another serious interest; she used her mother’s Pentax K1000 to shoot black-and-white film. Before modeling took hold, she had even considered joining the U.S. Air Force after college.

Fashion eventually redirected those plans. Daniele began modeling professionally in 2011 and developed a portfolio that included editorial and commercial work while retaining the creative interests that had occupied her before the industry. Her Playboy profile described someone constantly experimenting with new pursuits, from photography and writing to ideas as varied as jewelry making and day trading.

Stephan Würth photographed Daniele’s original Playboy pictorial, which appeared in the March/April 2017 issue as the magazine restored full-frontal nudity under its “Naked Is Normal” campaign. Daniele became the first centerfold associated with that return, and she spoke publicly about posing nude as a way of examining women’s relationship with their bodies and the expectations placed upon them. The feature therefore arrived at a particularly visible moment in Playboy’s editorial history.

Her interests outside fashion were unusually eclectic. Daniele had taken weekly pole-dancing classes for almost two years by the time of her Playboy interview and kept a pole in her Bronx apartment, describing the practice as a form of expression that challenged conventional assumptions about women and control. A committed vegan and animal advocate, she also rescued pit bulls and spoke about wanting to create a sanctuary for abandoned dogs and cats.

Playboy returned to Daniele the following year with an even larger distinction, naming her Playmate of the Year for 2018. Jennifer Stenglein photographed the accompanying 11-page pictorial, which paid tribute to Leroy Neiman’s Femlin character. Daniele became the first woman to receive the annual title after Hugh Hefner’s death in September 2017.
