Scarlett Keegan is an American actress, glamour and nude model. She was born Doreen Katherine Brennan Keegan on May 18, 1984, in Westlake Village, California. Playboy named her its September 2004 Playmate at 20. Her appearance came in the 2000s, as Playboy's print tradition began to share space with an expanding online presence.
Keegan has natural breasts, green eyes and red hair. Her measurements are 34-24-34.
Scarlett Keegan entered entertainment unusually early, deciding as a small child that she wanted to model and act. She began appearing in television commercials and print advertising while still young, giving her years of camera experience before Playboy became part of her career. Her Irish background also remained important to her identity, and she later studied acting at the Gaiety School in Ireland.
A friend referred Keegan to Playboy in 2003 during the magazine’s 50th Anniversary Playmate Hunt. She appeared in the December 2003 anniversary issue before being selected for her own centerfold the following year. The opportunity placed her among a group of models discovered through one of Playboy’s most extensive nationwide searches.
Keegan continued working with Playboy after her centerfold, appearing in a couple of the company’s video productions. In 2005 she also took part in a swimwear calendar promoting Las Vegas alongside fellow Playmates Destiny Davis and Jennifer Walcott. Mayor Oscar Goodman subsequently presented the three women with keys to the city in recognition of their participation.
Acting and music-video work added further credits. Keegan appeared in Weezer’s “Beverly Hills” video and later had an uncredited role in the comedy Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story. Her background in commercials, print work and formal acting study gave her a broader entertainment foundation than modeling alone.
Keegan remained closely attached to Ireland despite building her professional life in Los Angeles. Her mother had been born in Dublin, and Scarlett often described Ireland as the place closest to her heart. At the same time, she approached her twenties with an open-ended attitude toward career and personal life, preferring to follow opportunities as they came rather than map out a fixed route too far in advance.
