Nicole Whitehead is an American actress, glamour and nude model. She was born on November 5, 1980, in Birmingham, Alabama. Playboy named her its May 2004 Playmate at 23. Her appearance came in the 2000s, as Playboy's print tradition began to share space with an expanding online presence.

Nicole Whitehead came to Playboy after an unconventional stretch of work that combined horses, aviation and modeling. After high school she moved to Orlando, where she spent roughly two and a half years performing as a trick rider in the Arabian Nights dinner show despite having no formal stunt-riding training. She also lived on a Florida ranch with three horses, keeping equestrian life close even as her professional interests expanded.
Flying became an equally serious pursuit. Whitehead worked at a local bar to help pay for flight school and earned her pilot’s license at 23. Aviation was never simply a recreational interest: she hoped eventually to become a Learjet captain. Her enthusiasm for speed extended to NASCAR, while her everyday style remained decidedly casual, with jeans far more characteristic of her personality than elaborate fashion.
Playboy first featured Whitehead on the cover of Natural Beauties in 2001. Her relationship with the company then moved online when she became Cybergirl of the Week on January 28, 2002, followed by Cybergirl of the Month for May 2002. Two years later, that progression from Playboy’s specialty and digital publications led to her centerfold in the monthly magazine.
