Julianna Young is an American model and actress. She was born on September 19, 1960, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, United States. Her zodiac sign is Virgo. She has also been credited as Julie Young.
Julianna Young was Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for November 1993. She was 33 years old when the issue was published. Her centerfold and accompanying pictorial, titled “Handle with Care,” were photographed by Arny Freytag and Stephen Wayda.
Her Playmate Data Sheet listed her measurements as 38DD-24-34, with a height of 5 feet 7½ inches and a weight of 110 pounds. She has hazel eyes and blond hair.
Young has French and Irish ancestry. Before appearing in Playboy, she spent seven years working in customer complaints for a moving and storage company. She described her role as resolving disputes and ensuring that dissatisfied customers left the company feeling that their concerns had been addressed.
At the time of her Playboy profile, Young lived in South Florida and hoped to pursue professional modeling and acting. She identified travel to Rome as a personal ambition and also expressed an interest in baseball, boating, photography, dancing, and animals.
Young’s test photographs were selected from a large number of Playmate submissions. She was 33 when she became Miss November, making her one of the oldest women selected as a Playmate of the Month at that point in Playboy’s history.
She should not, however, be described as the second-oldest Playmate after Rebecca Ramos. Rebecca Ramos did not become a Playmate until January 2003, almost ten years after Young, and was 35 at the time. Ramos therefore later surpassed Young’s age at the time of selection rather than preceding her in the record.
After her centerfold appearance, Young continued working with Playboy. She appeared in special editions including Playboy’s Playmate Review Vol. 10, Playboy’s Book of Lingerie Vol. 38, Playboy’s Bathing Beauties, Playboy’s Winter Girls, and Playboy’s Celebrating Centerfolds Vol. 3.
Her acting credits include the drama This Girl’s Life, along with appearances in Playboy-related video productions.
