Leisa Sheridan Bio
Leisa Sheridan was an American actress, glamour and nude model. She was born on May 28, 1964, in Omaha, Nebraska. Playboy named her its July 1993 Playmate at 29. Her appearance came during Playboy's 1990s print era, a period increasingly shaped by entertainment and celebrity culture.
Sheridan had natural breasts, blue eyes and blond hair. Her measurements are 38-26-34.
Chosen from thousands of test submissions, Sheridan’s centerfold—published under the pictorial title “Walk on the Wild Side”—was shot by Arny Freytag and Stephen Wayda, two of the magazine’s most practiced stylists of light and posture. Those sessions, she later said, began with real nerves but ended with a steadier presence on camera, a quietness that the photographers and production team helped her find.
Her association with the brand extended beyond the monthly pages. Sheridan graced the cover of Playboy’s Spanish edition in October 1994 and returned for a string of branded video projects and newsstand special editions, including Playboy: Wet & Wild V and the Playboy: 21 Playmates Centerfold Collection, work that kept her visible on shelves and screens through the mid‑1990s.
Sheridan also explored acting; her credited screen role is Katie in the 1994 martial‑arts action film Red Sun Rising. It remains the principal on‑screen credit in her modest film appearance, a one‑off turn that added a different, physical beat to a career otherwise built around modeled image and magazine storytelling.
Off camera she lived between California towns and a taste for travel. Raised in Carmel before moving to Los Angeles, she made a San Fernando Valley apartment a lively household—sharing it with a Moluccan cockatoo named Montana, a parakeet, a cat and a large shepherd‑wolf mix called Bear—and kept a passport stamped from trips to Jamaica, the Bahamas and Hawaii. Leisa Sheridan died on October 2, 2021, at 57, leaving behind a concise, well‑documented chapter in the 1990s magazine era.
