Alesha Marie Oreskovich was Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for June 1993. She was 21 years old when the issue was published. Her centerfold and accompanying pictorial, titled “Straight A Stunner,” were photographed by Richard Fegley.
Her Playmate Data Sheet listed her measurements as 36C-D-25-36, with a height of 5 feet 8 inches and a weight of 125 pounds. She has brown eyes and dark brown hair.
Oreskovich grew up in southern Florida in a family with French, Swedish, German, Yugoslav, Italian, and other European roots. Her mother had worked as a fashion model during the 1970s and encouraged her daughter’s early interest in modeling. Her father was a longtime Playboy subscriber and supported her decision to pose for the magazine.
She began modeling internationally as a teenager. At the age of 15, she traveled to New York for auditions accompanied by her mother and grandmother. The following summer, she worked in Paris and developed an interest in Impressionist art through visits to the Louvre.
Oreskovich attended high school on academic scholarships and was active as a cheerleader. She graduated in 1990 and later studied English in college. At the time of her Playboy profile, she planned to earn a doctorate and become a college professor.
Her connection with Playboy began during a fashion casting attended by photographer and Playboy scout Michael Moffitt. He recognized her surname because he had known her family and had photographed her mother during her modeling career. Moffitt submitted test photographs of Oreskovich to Playboy, leading to her selection as Miss June.
Oreskovich’s June 1993 centerfold was deliberately modeled after the centerfold of Nancie Li Brandi, Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for December 1975. Both compositions used a related pose and visual arrangement, linking Oreskovich’s pictorial to an earlier period of Playboy photography.
Following her Playmate appearance, Oreskovich became a frequently featured Playboy model. She appeared in numerous newsstand special editions, pictorials, calendars, and video productions throughout the 1990s and early 2000s.
