Ida Ljungqvist is a Tanzanian-Swedish model best known as Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for March 2008 and Playboy’s Playmate of the Year for 2009. She was born on September 27, 1981, in Tanzania, to a Tanzanian mother and a Swedish father. Her zodiac sign is Libra. She is also credited as Ida Lang.
Ljungqvist was discovered by Sara Jean Underwood, Playboy’s 2007 Playmate of the Year, while working at a bebe store in Beverly Hills. Playboy introduced her as “Miss March” in its March 2008 issue, with her centerfold photographed by Stephen Wayda.
Her Playboy profile emphasized her international background.
