AJ Alexander is an American actress, glamour and nude model. She was born Amanda Jane Herrmann on September 16, 1980, in Evansville, Indiana. Playboy named her its May 2008 Playmate at 27. Her appearance came in the 2000s, as Playboy's print tradition began to share space with an expanding online presence.
Alexander has enhanced breasts, blue eyes and red hair. Her measurements are 32-24-35.
AJ Alexander developed her competitive streak long before modeling entered the picture. Growing up, she devoted much of her time to softball, golf, horseback riding, soccer, basketball and gymnastics, while go-karts and racing games satisfied an enthusiasm for anything fast. Cameras were not entirely unfamiliar, however: at eight she appeared in television commercials promoting her family’s Putt-Putt Golf & Games business.
Education and a conventional profession initially provided Alexander with a different direction. She attended the University of Southern Indiana, where she made the Dean’s List, and trained as a dental assistant. After relocating to Dana Point in Orange County, she worked at a dental practice in Newport Beach while exploring modeling and acting opportunities. California gradually transformed what had been occasional camera work into a viable second career.
Acting supplied the connection that brought Alexander to Playboy. She was cast as a DJ in The Pool Boys, where she met Jennifer Walcott. The former Playmate encouraged Alexander and referred her to a Playboy casting contact.
