Kara Monaco is an American competitive gymnast, professional dancer, and model. She was born on February 26, 1983, in Lakeland, Florida, and has also been credited as Kara Brouillette and Karebear. Playboy named her its June 2005 Playmate at 22. She was later named Playmate of the Year 2006. Her appearance came in the 2000s, as Playboy's print tradition began to share space with an expanding online presence.
Monaco has enhanced breasts, blue eyes and blond hair. Her measurements are 34-24-35.
Kara Monaco entered entertainment through performance rather than conventional modeling. Trained as a dancer, she worked professionally at Walt Disney World, appearing in productions as Cinderella, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland and other characters. The experience gave her a strong foundation in stage presence and presentation before Playboy became part of her career.
Her first major connection with the magazine came in 2004 while she was bartending in Orlando. Monaco was selected in Playboy’s America’s Sexiest Bartender competition and subsequently appeared in the Girls of Summer special edition, including its cover. The exposure attracted Hugh Hefner’s attention and led to her Playmate centerfold the following year.
