Suzanne Stokes is an American actress, glamour and nude model. She was born Suzanne Lee Stokes on July 9, 1979, in Naples, Florida. Playboy named her its February 2000 Playmate at 20. Her appearance came in the 2000s, as Playboy's print tradition began to share space with an expanding online presence.
Stokes has enhanced breasts, green eyes and blond hair. Her measurements are 35-23-33.
Suzanne Stokes grew up in an environment far removed from the usual modeling-school story. Her parents operated an alligator farm and wildlife refuge in the Florida Everglades, and she later recalled growing up around baby alligators and the practical realities of life there. By sixteen, she had moved out of her parents’ home, and after finishing high school in 1997 she relocated to Miami to pursue modeling more seriously.
Her early work was largely commercial. Stokes appeared on the cover of Boating magazine, modeled for swimsuit catalogs and worked in television commercials for foreign-market clients including Heineken and Ruffles. In 1999, she also traveled to Paris and appeared in the instructional video Bricol' Girls, adding an international assignment to a career that was still in its early stages.
Beauty competitions helped raise her profile further. Stokes won Miss Hawaiian Tropic Miami and Miss Hawaiian Tropic United States in 1999, then received the Miss Photogenic title at the international Miss Hawaiian Tropic final in 2000. Those pageant appearances gave her both exposure and camera experience before Playboy became the next major step.
Stokes had been interested in modeling and acting from a young age, and Playboy fit directly into those ambitions. She described herself as someone who had always been comfortable posing and said that the entertainment business was her real passion. After her centerfold appearance, she continued pursuing television and acting work, including a memorable appearance as a plumber on Frasier and appearances connected with Howard Stern.
