Playboy named her its February 1988 Playmate at 23. Her appearance came during Playboy's polished, high-production 1980s period.

A former Fairview High School cheerleader (Class of ’82) who briefly attended the University of Florida, Kennell traded the classroom for the catwalk when she signed with Elite Models.
