Susan Kiger Bio
Susan Kiger is an American glamour model, porn and mainstream actress. She was born Susan Lynn Kiger on November 16, 1953, in Pasadena, California. Playboy named her its January 1977 Playmate at 23. Her appearance came during Playboy's 1970s print era, when the magazine reached the height of its mass-market influence.
Kiger has natural breasts, blue eyes and blond hair. Her measurements are 37-24-37.
Kiger’s centerfold was shot by photographers Pompeo Posar and Ken Marcus, and she kept returning to the magazine’s pages as a cover presence in March 1977, November 1977 and April 1978—three brief, high-visibility moments that extended the pictorial’s reach beyond the single issue.
Before many mainstream viewers saw her, she appeared in the 1976 X-rated feature Deadly Love (also released as Hot Nasties), a credit that set her apart: she is noted as the first Playmate to have worked in a hardcore adult film prior to her Playboy shooting. That unconventional step made her career a frequent topic for fans who follow the overlapping circuits of underground and commercial cinema.
On the exploitation- and genre-film circuit Kiger moved easily between sex comedies, action pastiche and low-budget horror. She turned up in the college romp H.O.T.S., sharing screen time with fellow model Pamela Jean Bryant, and collected credits in Angels Revenge, The Happy Hooker Goes Hollywood and the sci‑fi spoof Galaxina, where she played a blue‑skinned alien opposite Dorothy Stratten. Horror fans will also find her name on the slasher Death Screams, and she made occasional television guest appearances on series such as Vega$, Starsky and Hutch and CHiPs.
In later years Kiger stepped away from the public circuit and settled into a quieter life in Southern California, trading screen work for a profession behind the chair as a hair stylist. The odd mix of underground adult fare and mainstream genre work that defines her résumé keeps her career from fitting neatly into one column—an emblematic crossover of late‑1970s screen culture.
