Nereyda Bird Bio
Nereyda Bird is an American glamour and fashion model. She was born on September 12, 1997, in New York City, New York. Playboy named her its April 2018 Playmate at 20. Her appearance came during Playboy's contemporary era of international and digital publishing.
Bird has natural breasts, brown eyes and black hair. Her measurements are 34-24-36.
Nereyda Bird began modeling at 17 and was represented by Wilhelmina Models, building professional experience while still in her teens. Her early life took her from New York City to Philadelphia before she later settled in Miami, where modeling became only one part of a schedule that also included an unusually hands-on family business.
In North Miami, Bird co-owns Grab & Go with her mother, a casual café serving authentic Dominican food. She spoke warmly about the restaurant and the importance of good food in her Miami life, balancing commercial modeling with the practical demands of helping run a business. That combination had already given her experience in two very different working environments while she was still in her early twenties.
Drawing offered another creative outlet. Bird described herself as a tomboy and a comic-book fan, with Tank Girl among the titles she enjoyed. She said that without modeling she could imagine becoming a comic-book artist, making illustration more than a passing hobby. Baking, yoga and visiting arts festivals were also among the activities she preferred when work left her time to herself.
Despite the public nature of modeling, Bird described her private life as comparatively quiet. She said people sometimes formed a much wilder impression from Instagram than her actual routine justified, since going out and partying held little appeal for her. At the time of her Playboy interview, she was single and deliberately uninterested in dating, preferring to concentrate on her own life and interests.
Bird also placed considerable value on being appreciated for her ideas rather than simply her appearance. She recalled being particularly pleased when people complimented the way she thought, and cited Michelle Obama’s advice about using one’s twenties to understand oneself. At home, that quieter side of her personality included time with her two cats, along with yoga, drawing and efforts to improve her baking.
