Allie Silva

Playboy Playmate, Miss October 2016

Allie Silva Bio

Allie Silva is an American glamour and nude model. Born Alexandra Katharine Silva on November 29, 1988, in Willimantic, Connecticut, she has also been credited as Alexandra Silva. Playboy named her its October 2016 Playmate at 27. Her appearance came during Playboy's contemporary era of international and digital publishing.

Silva has natural breasts, green eyes and blond hair. Her measurements are 34-26-37.

Allie Silva entered modeling only after completing college, following the wishes of parents who encouraged her to finish her education before pursuing the profession seriously. Raised in Connecticut, she described her upbringing as stable and supportive, shaped by parents whose relationship gave her a strong example of mutual respect. That foundation remained important even after modeling turned travel into a regular part of her life.

Silva’s appearance also prompted frequent questions about her background. Her Norwegian and African-American heritage gave her a distinctive look, particularly the curly hair she joked had become “its own entity.” She was less enthusiastic about strangers reducing that background to a label, however, and responded playfully when people asked, “What are you?” by answering simply that she was human.

By 2016, Silva was working as a full-time model, balancing professional travel with a personality she described as considerably quieter than her social-media presence might suggest. Despite the outwardly glamorous nature of the job, she considered herself somewhat introverted and valued ordinary routines whenever she returned home. Trips to the grocery store with her mother and watching SportsCenter with her father were among the familiar pleasures she specifically mentioned.

Playboy photographed Silva with Henrik Purienne for her October 2016 pictorial. The assignment came during the magazine’s brief non-nude period, when Playboy was placing greater emphasis on fashion photography, personality and a more contemporary editorial aesthetic. Purienne’s established fashion-oriented approach fitted that direction particularly well, while Silva brought an easy humor to the accompanying interview rather than adopting an overly polished persona.

Her comments for Playboy repeatedly returned to the contrast between public image and private temperament. Modeling had made travel, photography and social media part of Silva’s everyday professional life, yet she remained closely attached to Connecticut and her family. The Henrik Purienne feature captured her during that period as a working model whose most memorable observations concerned identity, family and the difference between how someone appears online and how they actually prefer to live.
