Amberleigh West is an American actress, glamour and nude model. She was born Amberleigh Deann West on September 4, 1991, in Sedro-Woolley, Washington. Playboy named her its January 2016 Playmate at 24. Her appearance came during Playboy's contemporary era of international and digital publishing.
West has natural breasts, brown eyes and brown hair. Her measurements are 32-23-32.
Amberleigh West approached Playboy on her own initiative, sending photographs to Playboy Plus and earning an invitation to attend a casting. Modeling had been a longstanding interest, and she was particularly attracted to what she regarded as Playboy’s combination of sophistication and sensuality. The opportunity eventually placed her in front of photographer Sasha Eisenman for one of the magazine’s final centerfolds before its temporary move away from nude pictorials.
West’s appearance came at a transitional moment in Playboy history. As the magazine prepared to introduce its short-lived non-nude format, she became the second-to-last Playmate photographed nude under the previous editorial approach. The timing gave Eisenman’s pictorial a particular place in the archive, immediately preceding a significant change in how the U.S. edition presented its Playmates.

She appeared as a Playmate in Romania in February 2016, followed by the Argentina and Slovakia editions in March and the Russian edition in April. Away from modeling, West’s interests reflected the Pacific Northwest environment in which she grew up. Hiking, kayaking and cycling were among her favorite outdoor activities, while she also enjoyed sports, cooking and baking. She preferred similarly informal social plans, describing rock climbing, getting something to eat or simply staying home to watch television as more appealing than elaborate arrangements. The Walking Dead was among the shows she specifically mentioned enjoying.
Sports Illustrated added another publication credit shortly before her Playboy feature, selecting West as its “Lovely Lady of the Day” on December 15, 2015. That appearance was followed by the succession of international Playboy editions in early 2016, culminating in the Russian edition’s April selection after her features in Romania, Argentina, Slovakia and the U.S. Latino edition.
