Lana James Bio
Lana James is an American Adult model. She was born on May 14, 1993, in Dallas, Texas. Playboy featured her as Cybergirl of the Month in April 2014 at 20. The feature was part of Playboy's web-first model program.
James has natural breasts, hazel eyes and black hair. Her measurements are 34-24-35.
Lana James came to modeling from a background that hardly suggested a conventional glamour trajectory. She remembered herself in high school as the girl in rainbow socks and plaid skirts who went home to watch anime, and she carried some of that slightly offbeat sensibility with her when she began working in front of the camera. Her first nude shoot for Playboy Plus came in December 2013, when she was still relatively new to modeling and figuring out how far she wanted to take it.
At the same time, James was pursuing fashion merchandising in college, with biology as a minor. The combination suited someone interested in style without fitting neatly into the stereotypical fashion-school mold. Playboy arrived while she was still studying, turning what had begun as an experiment into a modeling opportunity substantial enough for her to start thinking seriously about continuing the work.
Her social life was considerably less studious. James liked getting dressed up with friends and heading to a favorite martini bar, partly for the atmosphere and partly, as she freely admitted, because it was a good place to meet men. She was equally candid about not wanting a serious relationship at that stage of her life. School, friends and a newly developing modeling career already occupied enough of her attention, and she preferred keeping romance light.
What gives James’s early Playboy story its charm is the contrast she herself recognized. The self-described high-school nerd who once spent afternoons watching anime suddenly found herself navigating college classes and nude modeling at the same time. Rather than abandoning one version of herself for another, she seemed amused by how unexpectedly the two had come to coexist.
