Playboy named her its June 2013 Playmate at 22. Her appearance came during Playboy's contemporary era of international and digital publishing.

Audrey Aleen Allen brought some professional modeling experience to Playboy, including calendar work for Stoli and Lotus Concepts and a Guitar World magazine cover. Raised with her sisters by their mother in Northglenn, Colorado, she described herself as a tomboy who was equally comfortable embracing the more polished side of modeling. Her close family relationships remained particularly important as her career began attracting wider attention.
Travel provided much of Allen’s favorite material for stories and memories.
