Jean Jani was an American actress, glamour and nude model. Born Norma Jean Jani on October 31, 1931, in Dayton, Ohio, she has also been credited as Norma J Jani. Playboy named her its July 1957 Playmate at 25. Her appearance dates from the magazine's formative 1950s, when the Playmate format was still taking shape.
Jani had natural breasts, brown eyes and brown hair. Her measurements are 38-23-34.
Her centerfold was photographed by Peter Gowland. She was depicted as a flight attendant, but in reality, Jani was a reservations clerk with United Airlines when she was discovered. According to "The Playmate Book", United Airlines terminated her employment after her Playboy pictorial was published.
Jani's appearance in Playboy marked a turning point in her life, but her connection to the magazine wasn't a lasting focus. She later shared that she had entirely forgotten about her time as a Playmate until many years later when her grown daughter surprised her with a copy of the book's first edition, which included pictures of Jani from her Playmate feature.
