Throughout the mid-60s, Sinatra also dabbled in acting, appearing in movies such as "Speedway" alongside Elvis Presley and "The Wild Angels" with Peter Fonda.

In 1985, she authored "Frank Sinatra, My Father", a book about her famous father. Later on, at the age of 54, she made a controversial decision to pose nude for Playboy's May 1995 issue, which sparked some uproar. While some close to the family claimed that the nude photo spread upset the Sinatras, Nancy maintained that her father was proud of her pictures. When she told her father about the Playboy shoot and how much she would be paid, he apparently told her to ask for double the amount.
