Known primarily for her hit song "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" in 1966, Nancy Sinatra is the daughter of renowned singer Frank Sinatra. Although she started her career in the early 1960s as a singer and actress, she only achieved success initially in Europe and Japan. Throughout the mid-60s, Sinatra also dabbled in acting, appearing in movies such as "Speedway" alongside Elvis Presley and "The Wild Angels" with Peter Fonda.
In 1985, she authored "Frank Sinatra, My Father", a book about her famous father. Later on, at the age of 54, she made a controversial decision to pose nude for Playboy's May 1995 issue, which sparked some uproar. While some close to the family claimed that the nude photo spread upset the Sinatras, Nancy maintained that her father was proud of her pictures. On talk shows, she even shared that her daughters approved of the shoot. Her mother, however, urged her to ask her father's opinion before going ahead with the project. When she told her father about the Playboy shoot and how much she would be paid, he apparently told her to ask for double the amount. In the same year, she also appeared on several television shows to promote her album "One More Time".
