Cynthia Hall

Playboy Playmate of The Month for March 1971

Cynthia Hall Bio

Cynthia Hall is an American Playboy Bunny, actress, glamour and nude model. She was born on April 1, 1951, in Hinsdale, Illinois. Playboy named her its March 1971 Playmate at 19. Her appearance came during Playboy's 1970s print era, when the magazine reached the height of its mass-market influence.

Hall has natural breasts, blue eyes and black hair. Her measurements are 37-25-36.

Her centerfold was shot by photographer David Chan; the image that ran in the magazine owed as much to Chan’s measured framing as to the quieter chapters that led up to it. Hall arrived at the pages after a stint at the Playboy Club in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, having worked earlier as a dental assistant — a practical beginning that prefaced her appearance among the publication’s “Bunnies of 1970” in the August issue.

Acting followed in short order. In 1973 she took a small screen turn as Marilla in the made‑for‑TV film The Fabulous Doctor Fable, a credit that punctuated a brief flirtation with performance rather than a full career pivot.

Two decades later, Hall resurfaced in a very different register. Between 1990 and 1992 she collaborated with Paul Willies on Coastal Pathways in Virginia Beach, and she later channeled that local engagement into founding an alternative newspaper called Dimensions — a move that placed her on the other side of the byline and the editorial desk.

Taken together, these episodes sketch a public life that moved between service work, club‑era glamour, occasional screen roles and grassroots publishing. The result is a compact but unexpectedly varied résumé: the sort of career that resists a single label and rewards a closer look.
