Avis Miller was an American Playboy Bunny, glamour and nude model. She was born Avis Irene Miller Erickson on November 4, 1945, in Portsmouth, Ohio. Playboy named her its November 1970 Playmate at 24. Her appearance came during Playboy's 1970s print era, when the magazine reached the height of its mass-market influence.
Miller had natural breasts, blue eyes and blond hair. Her measurements are 39-26-37.
Her centerfold was photographed by Dwight Hooker, the working-camera credit that places the pictorial in the magazine’s craft-minded portrait tradition and frames the image around natural poise rather than gimmick. Hooker’s pages favored a clean, confident look; in Miller’s case the result was a portrait both direct and quietly assured.
Outside the pages, Miller combined a college degree with the distinctly social side of Playboy life. A graduate of Arizona State University, she brought that steadiness to service roles inside the organization, most notably as one of the magazine’s celebrated “Jet Bunnies.” In that capacity she served as a flight attendant on Hugh Hefner’s DC‑9, the so-called “Big Bunny,” joining an extended 1970 tour of Europe and Africa alongside fellow Bunny Barbi Benton.
