Jennifer Jackson Bio
Jennifer Jackson is an American Playboy Bunny, actress, glamour and nude model. She was born on February 6, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois. Playboy named her its March 1965 Playmate at 20. Her appearance came during the 1960s, as Playboy grew into a major force in American magazine publishing.
Jackson has natural breasts, brown eyes and black hair. Her measurements are 36-23-36.
Her centerfold carried a history-making distinction: Jennifer Jackson was the first African-American woman to be featured as a Playboy Playmate, photographed for the spread by Pompeo Posar. The image arrived at a moment when mainstream magazines were only beginning to reflect broader American culture, and the shoot is remembered as a concrete instance of representation in a field that had long been narrowly defined.
Raised on Chicago’s South Side, Jackson finished at Emil G. Hirsch High School in 1963 before moving into the city’s social orbit. Alongside her identical twin, Janice, she worked in the Chicago Playboy Club as a Bunny, a role that placed the sisters at the intersection of nightlife, fashion, and the magazine’s expanding brand presence in the mid‑1960s.
Her modeling work extended beyond the pages of the magazine. Jackson took assignments on runways and in advertising and appeared with established African‑American presentation circuits, including the Ebony Fashion Fair, bringing a measured elegance to commercial and live fashion contexts that reached audiences outside the glossy press.
Later in life she turned to social service, building a career in child welfare and serving as an investigator for Child Protective Services. Now based in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, she is a mother of three and a grandmother. That early, boundary‑crossing appearance remains a cited chapter in the overlapping histories of popular photography, fashion and the slow, visible widening of who could appear in American mass‑market glamour.
