Playboy named her its January 1958 Playmate. Her appearance dates from the magazine's formative 1950s, when the Playmate format was still taking shape.
Roberts has natural breasts, brown eyes and brown hair. Her measurements are 34-22-34.
Her captivating centerfold was skillfully captured by photographers Arthur James and Mike Shea. Notably, Elizabeth was the first Playmate to be born in the 1940s, making her a symbol of a new era. She holds the distinction of being the youngest Playmate ever featured in Playboy.
Interestingly, Elizabeth's journey to Playboy was somewhat unconventional. She initially arrived at the Playboy studio accompanied by her mother, who provided a written statement claiming Elizabeth was of legal age. However, it later emerged that Roberts was, in fact, underage. This led to Hugh Hefner being summoned to a domestic relations court on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Ultimately, the charges were dropped as it was deemed unlikely that Hefner was aware of the girl's true age.
