Jordy Murray began modeling at 18, drawn to the profession through an existing fascination with fashion and clothing. Growing up in Sydney, she had changed environments frequently while still in school, an experience she credited with developing a strong sense of independence. Her classmates apparently noticed the same streak, voting her “most free-spirited” in high school.
International modeling gave Murray another outlet for that independence. Early shoots and editorials exposed her to photographers, stylists and different creative markets, while travel became a regular part of her professional life.
