Lynn Thomas was Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for May 1997, earning the title at the age of 21. Her distinctive blend of Vietnamese and European heritage, together with her natural beauty and confident screen presence, made her one of the most recognizable Playmates of the late 1990s.
Lynn Thomas is known for her distinctive appearance, reflecting her Vietnamese and European heritage. During her Playboy career, she was listed with brown eyes, naturally black hair, and measurements of 34-25-35.
Born to an American serviceman and a Vietnamese mother who met during the Vietnam War, Lynn spent her childhood in Virginia Beach after her parents divorced when she was five years old. Raised alongside her older sister by their mother, she graduated from Kempsville High School in 1994 before entering an accelerated college program. Although she initially planned a career in biology and genetic engineering, she later changed her major to studio art and management while working toward a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
In her Playboy interview, Lynn described herself as naturally shy despite her modeling career. Before stepping in front of the camera, she was more interested in photography than modeling and enjoyed sculpture, drawing, painting, and other visual arts. Her hobbies also included playing pool, riding motorcycles, jet skiing, traveling, and spending time with friends.
