Dona Speir Bio
Dona Speir, born Dona Linda Speir, is an American model and actress. She was born on February 7, 1964, in Norwalk, California.
Speir was named Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for March 1984. She was 20 years old when her centerfold appeared in the magazine.
Dona Speir is 5 feet 7 inches (170 cm) tall and has blond hair and blue eyes. Her published Playboy measurements were 37-24-35 inches (93-60-90 cm).
From centerfold stunner to on-screen action heroine, Dona Speir is the definition of fearless. Dona built a career as an international model and brand ambassador long before her career in Playboy. Her centerfold launched a wave of appearances in Playboy videos and pictorials across national and international editions of the magazine.
Hollywood quickly took notice. Dona began booking TV guest roles on popular shows like "Mike Hammer", "Matt Houston", "Knight Rider", and "Married with Children". But it was her breakout role as federal agent Donna Hamilton in director Andy Sidaris' action-packed film series that earned her cult status. Over seven films - including "Hard Ticket to Hawaii", "Savage Beach", "Picasso Trigger", "Guns", "Do or Die", "Hard Hunted", and "Fit to Kill" - she delivered high-octane thrills and unforgettable charisma as a gun-toting DEA agent in paradise.
Beyond her action-hero legacy, Dona also appeared in indie films like "Click: The Calendar Girl Killer", and had smaller roles in mainstream titles such as "Dragnet", "Mortuary Academy", and "Doin' Time" - staying active on screen throughout the '80s and '90s.
In the 2000s, Dona reinvented herself once again - this time as a motivational speaker, personal recovery coach, and addiction interventionist. Certified with multiple national credentials (NCRCI, NCRCII, NCIP), she's made it her mission to help others heal. In 2019, she celebrated the 35th anniversary of her centerfold with a media tour and the release of her memoir, "Naked Truth: The Fall and Rise of Dona Speir".
Whether in front of the camera or guiding others through recovery, Dona Speir remains a force - bold, compassionate, and always moving forward.
