Lisa Welch Bio
Lisa Welch is an American nude model, actress and artist. She was born Lisa Welch Selmer on November 11, 1960, in Aberdeen, Maryland. Playboy named her its September 1980 Playmate at 19. Her appearance came during Playboy's polished, high-production 1980s period.
Welch has natural breasts, blue eyes and brown hair. Her measurements are 34-22-34.
Lisa Welch’s reach beyond magazine pages arrived in motion: she appears on screen as Suzy, the school‑cheerleader with a wink of comic timing in the feature film Revenge of the Nerds. That brief, knockabout part folded her into the era’s pop‑culture circulation, giving readers a recognizable face when the magazine and movie aisles overlapped.
Her centerfold—photographed by Ken Marcus and Pompeo Posar—favored a calm, poised composition that put the emphasis on line and presence rather than theatrics. The two photographers’ work around her spread presented a straightforward, fashion‑aware approach to glamour that matched the era’s cleaner, high‑production sensibility and underlined the image’s considered craft.
Between a small but memorable screen turn and a carefully conceived centerfold, Welch’s public life lives in that productive intersection of cinema and pictorial photography. Those two credits remain the clearest touchstones of a career that threaded the magazine’s pages with the wider, irreverent currents of commercial comedy.
