Sharon Rogers was already part of Playboy’s daily machinery before she ever stepped in front of its cameras. Working part-time at the Chicago headquarters, she filed material, tracked down photographs in the magazine’s extensive picture library and handled routine editorial notes. Colleagues repeatedly encouraged her to test for the magazine, but Rogers resisted for some time before finally agreeing.
