Laura Gemser is an Indonesian Actress, model and costume designer. Born Laurette Marcia Gemser on October 5, 1950, in Java, Indonesia, she has also been credited as Emanuelle and Moira Chen. She appeared as a Playboy Muse in May 1979 at 28. Her appearance came during Playboy's 1970s print era, when the magazine reached the height of its mass-market influence.

In 1955, at the tender age of four, Gemser bid farewell to her native Indonesia, embarking on a new chapter alongside her parents in the Netherlands.
