Autumn Lynn spent years trying to turn a long-held Playboy ambition into reality. Before working with the magazine, she built experience in print and promotional modeling while also working as a bikini barista in Washington State. Playboy, however, remained a particular goal. “I’ve been chasing the dream since I was eighteen,” she recalled.
Lynn tried casting calls, submitted photographs and searched online message boards for a route into the magazine, without immediate success. Her break finally came when photographer Cassandra Keyes contacted her after noticing her look and offered to submit her to Playboy. After years of trying, Lynn was approved to shoot, beginning a relationship with the magazine that would eventually bring her a Cybergirl title.
Her first Playboy Plus shoot took place in May 2015. Nearly three years later, readers voted Lynn Playboy’s Cybergirl of the Month for March 2018, giving her a significant milestone after the persistence that had characterized her route to the magazine. For Lynn, Playboy also represented a sense of freedom and confidence in front of the camera.
Away from modeling, music is one of Lynn’s constants. She enjoys going out with friends to see local bands and listens across genres, though rock remains her favorite. “I basically get up, put on some music and go about my day,” she told Playboy. She is equally enthusiastic about the Pacific Northwest, particularly the lush landscape produced by its famously rainy climate.
Lynn’s Cybergirl story was ultimately one of persistence rather than overnight discovery. Years of casting calls and submissions preceded her first Playboy shoot, and another stretch of time passed before readers chose her as Cybergirl of the Month. As she put it herself, “My story is still being written”—an appropriate outlook for a model who reached one of her goals by refusing to abandon it.
