Angela Little is an American actress, glamour and nude model. Born Angela Michelle Little on July 22, 1972, in Albertville, Alabama, she has also been credited as Angela Klein, Angela Little Mackenzie, Katie James, and Little Marilyn. Playboy named her its August 1998 Playmate at 26. Her appearance came during Playboy's 1990s print era, a period increasingly shaped by entertainment and celebrity culture.
Little has enhanced breasts, blue eyes and blond hair. Her measurements are 34-23-34.
Angela Little’s association with Playboy lasted far beyond her first major pictorial. Hugh Hefner reportedly nicknamed her “Little Marilyn,” a reference to the combination of blonde glamour and playful screen presence that became part of her image. She continued working with Playboy for more than five years, appearing in numerous videos and special editions, including an edition of the Playboy Book of Lingerie described as one of the publication’s strongest-selling issues.
Hollywood soon gave Little another outlet. Her film credits included Rush Hour 2, My Boss’s Daughter, American Pie Presents: Band Camp and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story with John C. Reilly. Comedy appeared repeatedly in that work, allowing her to move beyond modeling into supporting character roles while retaining the lively camera presence that had served her well at Playboy.
Television broadened the range considerably. Little appeared on CSI, Cold Case, Charmed, Monk, Reno 911!, Nip/Tuck, Malcolm in the Middle, The Mullets and The Bold and the Beautiful, as well as the detective series Buddy Faro. She also hosted an installment of E! Entertainment’s Wild On in Chicago, putting her personality rather than a scripted character at the center of the assignment.
Modeling remained part of the equation. In 2000, Little became the St. Pauli Girl, following fellow Playmate Jaime Bergman as a spokesmodel for the beer brand. Her performance interests extended behind the scenes as well: she choreographed and performed cabaret-style dance revues for casino venues, adding live entertainment to a career already spread across print, film and television.
Little married actor and musician Andy Mackenzie in 2005, and the couple welcomed a daughter later that year. By then, the nickname bestowed by Hugh Hefner represented only one facet of a much broader career. Playboy supplied the initial visibility, but Little turned it into years of acting, television, commercial modeling and performance work—a trajectory that made her considerably more than simply “Little Marilyn.”
