Elan Carter was Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for June 1994. She was 24 when her pictorial, photographed by Stephen Wayda, appeared in the magazine. Elan has brown eyes and black hair, with measurements listed as 34C-24-35.
Elan grew up close to the entertainment industry as the stepdaughter of Otis Williams, a founding member of the Motown vocal group The Temptations. Her mother, Arleata “Goldie” Carter, married Williams in 1983. Although Otis was not her biological father, Elan regarded him as an important parental figure and wanted to establish a successful career that would make him proud.
Her childhood included unusual access to prominent performers. While spending time backstage at Temptations concerts, she met musicians such as Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, and Smokey Robinson. The Temptations even performed “Happy Birthday” for her on her 21st birthday.
Before appearing in Playboy, Elan had already worked extensively as a model. Her assignments took her to Europe, Mexico, Jamaica, and the Bahamas.
