Diane Webber was an American glamour model, belly dancer, and actress. Born Marguerite Diane Empey on July 29, 1932, in Los Angeles, California, she has also been credited as Marguerite Empey. Playboy named her its February 1956 Playmate at 23. Her appearance dates from the magazine's formative 1950s, when the Playmate format was still taking shape.
Webber had natural breasts, green eyes and brown hair. Her measurements are 39-23-37.
Webber's relationship with the magazine began earlier than many realize: an elegant May 1955 centerfold—photographed by Bunny Yeager—preceded the better-known February 1956 Playmate feature, a return that underlined how the magazine reused and refined its own visual language in those early years. The Yeager images framed her statuesque lines and a composed, almost classical bearing that read as much like portraiture as pinup work.
Away from the studio lights she cultivated a parallel life as a dedicated performer and teacher of Middle Eastern dance.
