She first appeared in Playboy Russia as Miss March 2005. The relationship proved more significant than a single monthly pictorial: Kurbatova subsequently received the Russian edition’s Playmate of the Year 2006 title, marking the high point of her association with the magazine and establishing her as one of its notable models of the period.
A few years later, Kurbatova moved into music as one of the original members of the Russian girl group Mobilnye Blondinki.
