Photographer David Merenyi helped bring Hana to Playboy’s attention, leading to her first shoot for Playboy Plus in July 2019. Photographed in Thailand, the assignment allowed her to make her Playboy debut on familiar ground. For Hana, it was an entirely new experience with the magazine—and one she remembered enthusiastically.
“This is my first time working with Playboy, [and it] was a very good experience!” she said of the shoot. By then, Hana was comfortable working professionally in front of the camera, and the Playboy assignment became another step in a career she had consciously chosen after leaving hospital work behind.
Travel is one of Hana’s favorite parts of life away from modeling, particularly when it offers a little adventure. At home, her pleasures are considerably simpler: watching television, listening to music, shopping and going out. It is an easygoing mix that balances the demands of professional shoots and time spent traveling for work.
Hana’s route to Playboy was ultimately about finding a profession she actually wanted to pursue. A short period working in a hospital convinced her to reconsider her direction, while returning to modeling gave her the enthusiasm she had been missing. Her 2019 Playboy shoot captured that career at a particularly satisfying moment: she was back in front of the camera, working in her home country and doing the job she had chosen for herself.
