Carmella DeCesare is an American Adult model and professional wrestler. Born Carmella Danielle DeCesare on July 1, 1982, in Avon Lake, Ohio, she has also been credited as Carmella Danielle Garcia. Playboy featured her as Cybergirl of the Month in February 2003 at 20. The feature was part of Playboy's web-first model program.
DeCesare has enhanced breasts, brown eyes and black hair. Her measurements are 34-24-35.
Carmella DeCesare’s first experience with Playboy did not go according to plan. She entered the Fox reality competition Girl Next Door: The Search for a Playboy Centerfold and advanced to the finalist stage, only to withdraw after deciding that its intensely competitive atmosphere was not for her. Walking away might have ended her Playboy prospects, but Hugh Hefner remained interested in the Ohio newcomer.
Hefner subsequently invited DeCesare to his birthday celebration and encouraged her to reconsider working with the magazine. Rather than returning to the competition, she pursued a Playboy test and entered the company’s growing online modeling program. She was selected as Cybergirl of the Week before receiving the larger monthly distinction in February 2003.
The Cybergirl title quickly proved to be an introduction rather than the peak of DeCesare’s Playboy career. Just two months later, she became Playboy Playmate of the Month for April 2003. Playboy then named her Playmate of the Year for 2004, completing a remarkably fast progression from a reality-show finalist who had withdrawn from the competition to one of the magazine’s most prominent models.
Her association with Playboy continued through other projects, including an appearance as the March model in the 2005 Playmates at Play at the Playboy Mansion swimsuit calendar. That year she also appeared on The Girls Next Door, where she spoke candidly about having undergone breast augmentation and the adjustment period following the procedure.
DeCesare later crossed into another major American modeling institution when she appeared in the 2008 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. By then, the decision to leave Playboy’s reality competition years earlier had become an unusual footnote to a much larger modeling career. Her February 2003 Cybergirl feature captured the moment when that reversal was just beginning, shortly before Playboy moved her from its digital pages to the monthly centerfold.
