Kathy Shower is an American actress, glamour and nude model. Born Kathleen Ann Schrauer on March 8, 1953, in Brookville, Ohio, she has also been credited as Kathleen Shower and Kathy Ann Shower. Playboy named her its May 1985 Playmate at 32. She was later named Playmate of the Year 1986. Her appearance came during Playboy's polished, high-production 1980s period.
Shower has enhanced breasts, blue eyes and blond hair. Her measurements are 35-24-35.
Her screen work moved easily between television and low-budget genre films, with a succession of guest turns — including appearances on Knight Rider, Three's Company, CHiPs and Simon & Simon — and a surprisingly sustained daytime presence: a 46-episode run on the soap Santa Barbara that gave her recurring visibility to a different audience than her film work.
On the big screen Shower favored action-adventure and erotic-tinged thrillers, showing up in titles such as American Kickboxer 2, The Further Adventures of Tennessee Buck, Boundaries, L.A.
