Kathy Shower, born Kathleen Ann Schrauer, is an American model and actress. She was born on March 8, 1953, in Brookville, Ohio, and is also known as Kathleen Shower and Kathy Ann Shower.
Shower was named Playboy’s Playmate of the Month for May 1985 at the age of 32. She subsequently became Playboy’s Playmate of the Year for 1986.
Kathy Shower is 5 feet 9 inches (175 cm) tall and has blond hair and blue eyes. Her published Playboy measurements were 35-24-35 inches (90-60-90 cm).
Kathy's acting career spanned television and film, with a focus on action-adventure and erotic thrillers. She appeared in movies such as "American Kickboxer 2", "The Further Adventures of Tennessee Buck", "Boundaries", "L.A. Goddess", and "Velvet Dreams". Shower also took on numerous roles on television, guest-starring in popular series like "Knight Rider", "Three's Company", "CHiPs", and "Simon & Simon". One of her most notable TV roles was a 46-episode run on the daytime drama "Santa Barbara".
In 1995, Kathy appeared in "To the Limit", a film starring Anna Nicole Smith. She continued her creative endeavors and, in 2009, starred in and completed an independent project titled "Kathy Shower: Playmate Model Mom".
In addition to acting, Shower worked as a model for the Tapout clothing company and remained involved in the fashion and fitness world.
In August 1996, at age 43, Kathy made a triumphant return to Playboy, appearing in a "Playmates Revisited" pictorial. Her enduring beauty and confidence continued to inspire fans and proved that age is no barrier to success in the modeling industry.
At the time - she already was a mother of two young daughters - she became the oldest Playmate of the Year to date at the age of 33.
