Sandra Harrison came to Playboy with two very different disciplines already competing for her attention: nursing and dance. While studying at Wayne State University, she maintained a serious interest in fitness and movement, the latter rooted in dance training that had begun when she was three years old. Ballet, jazz, salsa and hip-hop all formed part of that background, giving her a physical confidence that felt earned rather than manufactured for the camera.
Her route into Playboy began at a Cleveland casting call.
