Photographer Cassandra Keyes described May as sweet, cheeky and modest, while May herself preferred the simpler description of a typical “Aussie Sheila.” She approached her Playboy interview with plenty of humor, correcting a few clichés along the way. Australians, she pointed out, call them prawns rather than shrimp—and despite what visitors might imagine, they neither ride kangaroos nor keep them as household pets.
